Debreceni Hajdú Táncegyüttes

Debreceni Hajdú Táncegyüttes is an institution that has been operating for more than 7 decades and, through folk dance instruction, develops participants' motor and cognitive skills and emotional intelligence while conveying values that build community ties. Learning to dance supports relaxation, fun and personal development.

The institution runs the Hajdútánc Basic Art School to ensure the next generation, where children aged 6-12 can start without prior training, while above age 12 prior dance training is required. In the Hajdús Kincsestár, located in the heart of Belváros, they also organize curated costume presentations and folk culture introductions for school and kindergarten groups.
