In the “Reviews on Studiofinder” section, guests describe their own experience. Here's how we make sure these reviews are genuine.
This confirmation link has expired or is no longer valid. If your review hasn't appeared yet, please write it again on the studio's page – unconfirmed reviews are deleted after 7 days.
How we check reviews
- Email confirmation: a review only moves forward if its author clicks the link in our email.
- Human review: a person reads every review before it's published.
- One review per six months: one email address can review the same studio once every six months.
- We can't verify whether the author actually visited the studio – they confirm this when submitting.
When a review can't be published
- it isn't about the studio or about the author's own experience;
- it's offensive, personal or hateful;
- it's an ad, contains a link or promotes another service;
- it contains personal data (e.g. an instructor's phone number);
- there's good reason to believe it wasn't written by a real guest (e.g. it was written by the studio itself, or paid for).
We don't reject a review just because it's negative. If we reject a review, we email the author the reason, and they can ask us to look at it again.
What the studio can do
The studio can't delete or edit a review. With the Pro plan, it can reply publicly. If it believes a review is untrue or offensive, it can let us know, and we'll look at it again under the same rules. Offering money, discounts or gifts for reviews is prohibited – reviews obtained this way may be removed.
The studio may ask its guests to write a review (with a link or QR code) – but everyone, without selection, not just happy customers. On its own website, the studio can show the rating it has received here using our review widget: the widget always shows the published reviews, unchanged and unfiltered, and doesn't include Google reviews.
AI summary
If a studio has at least 5 reviews, we use artificial intelligence to create a short summary – based only on reviews published here. Quotes are verbatim; we calculate the percentages (how many reviews mention a topic) ourselves. We don't create summaries from Google reviews.
If you see a problem with a review, report it here.
