About the studio
Amrita Jógaközpont is a Budapest Iyengar yoga and pranayama studio, founded in 2006 by Répássy Erika and Kevin Gardiner, who came from New York. The studio aims to build a supportive, growth-oriented community where asanas, pranayama and yoga theory share the center of the practice.
The offerings range from beginners to advanced students and teachers: from closed-group beginner courses through leveled group classes to personalized private sessions and teacher training that ends with an international exam. They also hold regular workshops and guest-teacher intensives, including with renowned Iyengar teachers from abroad.
