About the studio

Ambajoga has been operating in Rákospalota since 2016 and is a studio specializing in spine yoga. The teaching is based on the asanas of hatha yoga, which, through mindful movement and breathing, help the body relax and grow stronger, with special attention to correct posture and gentle mobilization of the spine. The classes are designed to suit both beginners and advanced students, and everyone can progress at their own pace.

The teaching is built on a personalized approach: private sessions adapt entirely to your current condition, while group practice provides a supportive community experience. Class types include classic spine yoga, chair practice (for people with desk jobs), and slower classes that support the nervous system and focus on releasing tension and reducing stress.

FAQ – Ambajoga.hu

Is spine yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes, the group classes are designed specifically to be ideal for both beginners and advanced students. Everyone can work at their own pace and within their own limits.
What is a nervous-system-friendly class?
It is a slower, gentle practice that focuses on releasing tension, reducing stress and inner quieting. It is recommended especially for those who carry tension in their bodies.
How does an individual class work?
Private sessions adapt entirely to your condition, energy and goals. Before your first session, it is worth arriving 15–20 minutes early to go over the details and goals. With the instructor there in person, your posture can be seen precisely and gently corrected.
Is there an online option?
Yes, both private and group classes are available online. Online, there is no commute, and you can progress at your own pace from the calm of your home.
Who is chair practice ideal for?
Chair yoga is designed especially for people who do desk work, carry tension in their back or neck, or want to do yoga in a safer, more accessible form. The exercises are done sitting on a chair or starting from it, so you get stable support.
