About the studio
Bandha Works Astanga Jógaiskola is a traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga school founded in 2013, created by three engineers with the aim of promoting and teaching traditional Ashtanga yoga in Hungary. The instructors are dedicated practitioners of the tradition and regularly travel to Mysore in southern India to deepen their knowledge and understanding. The school operates with the blessing of Paramaguru Sharath Jois and offers the oldest Ashtanga Mysore program in Hungary.
Mysore-style Ashtanga yoga practice is a personalized method that brings physical strength, flexibility and inner peace. The school follows the parampara tradition, which is based on the direct, experiential transmission of knowledge between teacher and student. With spiritual commitment and attention, the instructors help practitioners toward deeper understanding and personal growth.
